History of Firearms

This course will cover the evolution of firearms and ammunition. You will learn the different ignition systems invented and used throughout history and the different action types of modern firearms. You will also learn the evolution from the musket ball to the current self-contained brass cartridge. With each invention, the negatives and positives will be listed to build upon each other to understand the development process.

This course does not include any quizzes and does not distribute any competency tests at the conclusion of the course. This course is one video that goes through the basics of the history of firearms. This will give you a solid foundation that can be built upon with further research or hands-on examination of the different firearms and ammunition discussed in this course.
